Just to clarify, the Marquee Tool was introduced to BWL in the December 2018 release and here's the blurb from the blog post:
The Marquee select tool
We've added a rectangular Marquee select tool to make it easier to select multiple diagram elements. You can still use the keyboard controls (Ctrl+click, Cmd+click, Shift+click) when you need to select non-contiguous items, but selecting a large numbers of diagram elements is much easier using this tool. The Marquee select tool can be found in the upper left corner of the Process Diagram page, as shown in the screenshot below. Just click on it, then draw your rectangular selection area.

Subject: Moving sub-processes between swim lanes
Hi, Sunil -
A subprocess is a container of activities and those activities are what define which swimlane the subprocess is located in. Expand the subprocess and move the activities themselves to the different swimlane. Don't forget to use the Marquee Select option to select multiple activities to move them together.

Subject: Moving sub-processes between swim lanes
Hello,
I have noticed that once I convert an activity to a sub-process, then I cannot change the swim lane that it is located in. Is this a user error on my part or is there a reason BWL is designed so?
Thank-you,
