I just posted a
quick entry on some upcoming training on decision modeling with the Decision Model and Notation standard. We have found that thinking about how you can and should automate the decisions in your business is critical to overall automation success. It makes sure you don't just "digitize the cowpath" and creates the critical "hooks" for machine learning in your business - ML, after all, is all about improving decisions. If you don't know what decisions you make and how you make them, it's going to be hard to succeed with ML (or business rules for that matter).
Hope to see some of you on the training!
