IBM Content Collector for SAP Applications and SAP ILM

    Hi all,

I am a bit puzzled because in the documentation it says for SAP ILM support you need IBM TSM (Spectrum Protect) even when you have ICCSAP implemented in a FileNet P8 environment. Is that correct or would FileNet P8 without TSM(Spectrum Protect) be sufficient?

Best regards and any information is very much appreciated,

    Martin

From what I can see, SAP ILM is a specific archiving capability for reducing the size of the SAP database.

ICC for SAP can be used to store content in a FileNet repository and leave a pointer in the SAP database.

The two capabilities are not directly related. So the question is whether you really need/want both. If you do, then you need to set up SAP ILM per the SAP documentation.
