    Hello,

    I did an Upgrade vom FileNet CPE 5.5.1 to 5.5.4. System is working so far, but the Status of the "AutomaticUgradeStatus" does not complete. 

    It remains in "Asynchronous upgrades in progress: Security Descriptor Hash Improvment"

    Asynchronous Processing Subsystem is enabeld. Logfiles are overwritten in the meantime so I'm not able to check fo any errors. 

    I can't find any further information about what the AutomaticUpgrade process does in the background.
    Does anyone know where to look and how to fix the problem ?

    Hi Michael,

    I would suggest you open a PMR with IBM support for this issue.

    I made hundreds of FileNet CE upgrades and I only came across a schema upgrade failure once, many years ago in version 4.5.1. But as it was a test server I did not bother to search for a solution.

    I guess IBM support can guide you how to restart the schema upgrade process (restart WAS)  and how to configure bigger WAS log files. FileNet log files are quite large 100Mb and I don't believe they are overwritten. Have you checked p8_server_error.log?
