  • 1.  Error trying to convert an Excel to HTML

    I'm traying to convert an Excel file:

    defVar --name Excel_HTML --type Excel
    excelOpen --file "C:\\Users\\Alex Virrueta\\Documents\\TipoCambioDolar\\TCDolar.xlsx" Excel_HTML=value
    excelSaveAs --filename "${Excel_HTML}" --fileformat "xlHTML" --closeaftersave

    Error:
    9/29/2021 1:37:51 PM - Error executing command at line 3: excelSaveAs --filename "${Excel_HTML}" --fileformat "xlHTML" --closeaftersave
    Operation unavailable (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800401E3 (MK_E_UNAVAILABLE))

    If there any way t convert an Excel file to PDF, image or HTML

    Hi Alex,

    This seems to be a bug.  I cannot get the ExcelSaveAs to work with any format.  I will log a defect.  To work around this, you could use RPA commands to take control of the Excel window and select the file->save as dialog.

    I used the Save As command and was able to save the file to PDF.
