    Hello,

My name is Doyle Lahey, and I work for the Nova Scotia Provincial Government in Canada. Currently, we use Enterprise Records (ER) as our system offering to departments who wish to manage electronic records following retention and disposition schedules.

My struggle with ER is resources. I can't find many videos, policies, or examples of other institutions who use ER to manage electronic records. I have no colleagues in the RM/IM world who use FileNet (most use OpenText, third party vendors, or the RM capabilities in MS 365), so very little discussion occurs that is useful to me.

What I'm searching for are other institutions who use FileNet (Content Navigator and ER) as their electronic records management system. Also, any resources on how to configure the system that is up to date, or any case studies on the systems usage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Doyle.

    Hi Doyle,

I'd be happy to give you my perspective from the consulting side - we (Perficient) have supported many FileNet clients in North America across different industries.  My experience is that most organizations don't implement records management until they have a compelling event such as a fine, regulatory action, etc.

Feel free to reach out to me if you want to have an informal discussion.

    Thanks,
