Hi all,
First, thank you for taking time to read this post. I appreciate that.
I have installed ILMT (v9.2.36.1) with BigFix. I am working through the installation instructions and I've discovered that in the Software Classification report, the Db2 database product is not showing up for me to assign to the appropriate metric. The version info for Db2 is below along with other details. From my research I have found that there is no software id tag file for this version of Db2 on the hosts. The ILMT server uses Db2 LUW v11.5.9.0 and I was able to find that swidtag file. I am not in a position to perform a update of the databases to v11.5.9.0 and I recognize that this is the real solution to the issue.
Here's my question: Do I have to open a ticket with IBM to resolve this or could I copy the swidtag from the ILMT server and place it in it's proper location in the v11.5.0.0's installation path to fix this issue? I ask since the major version is the same between the ILMT server and the monitored clients.
Barring the above as an option, does anyone know why this is happening or know how to get the appropriate swidtag for Db2 LUW v11.5.0.0?
