    Hi all,

    I have an issue with Datacap 9.1.9.3 studio, when start studio shows a warning, so can someone aware of this warning guide me to solve this issue?

    Hi Varun Gupta,

    this is a fresh installation and I applied the latest fix pack so the current version is 9.1.9.3.

    installation user is a local admin on the machine and has full permissions on the datacap folder, the user is the owner of that folder and sub-folders and has permissions on DCOM.

    Hi Mostafa Abuelkhair,

    Seems like the convert library is missing.

    While installing Datacap did you choose custom install? If Yes then probably you will need to relaunch the installer and select the Connector for eMail that will install the convert library.

    The issue was solved by your suggestion. I installed all Datacap connectors and now Datacap studio running without any warning.

    It is good that you did a new installation but to install the connector is not Ok.
    To install the connector you must buy the license for it and there are enough customers which are using Datacap and Datacap Studio without the connectors...
    So your problem was only a bad installation. This could very often reached once you do forget some prerequirements or you are not an win admin..

    The single problem.if you do not install the connectors is that the Datacap connectors libraries cannot be used and if there is any example using this you will see these functioned marked with red color..

    So once again take care to be correctly with your IBM Datacap license...and install only the software you bought..

    my installation is a fresh installation all in one box for a Demo on VMWare 15.5.7 and this VM has Windows 2016 STD Edition 64 bit all Datacap requirements are already fulfilled and didn't face any issues while using Datacap components (TM, RR, wTM, tmweb.net, ...) but when open DStudio and choose any Datacap application I faced this RRX dll issue and it was solved after installed connectors, I reinstalled datacap from scratch 3 times without connectors but it didn't solve that issue, only solved when installed connectors only. so do you have another suggestion?

    Hi,

    as long as you are using your demo installation only for presale and demo actions I suppose you may install  all software without license problems. Only for customers who bought a specific license should be a problem.

    I do not exactly know  your RRS.dll error. and what a Datacap version and FixPacks / Infixes  you installed;
    It could be a problem of Datacap version, perhaps a bug / „feature"  then I would check the solutions in FixPacks readMe files.

    I had such error with RRs.dll in the past as I did not install Datacap in c:/Datacap and I had to change the folder in the DStudio settings or / and in windows registry...
