    Hi,

We have a problem on running bot in IBM RPA control center. The bot is not running and the status is only waiting.

Is there any solution to fix this?

    Thank you.

    Hi Jhon,

    Have you configured the machine?

    Did you add the credential?

To be able to run from the project you first have to create the machine, assign it a credential and assign this machine to a group.

Then inside the project it asks you which machine group to use.

Also when creating the machine make sure that the name is the same hostname of the machine, you can get it from CMD with the hostname command.

And make sure that it is available in the machines tab, otherwise you will have to install the certificate again.

If everything is setup correctly, I have seen this in the past for on premise control center , is related to msmq.

    Hi Felipe,

    Have you configured the machine?
~Yes. If you mean that it is under Define computers in the Computers tab.
    Did you add the credential?
~Yes. I used my credential and I can see it under Define Credentials in the Credentials tab

To be able to run from the project you first have to create the machine, assign it a credential and assign this machine to a group.
    ~Created the machine / computer - done
~Assign it a credential - How do you go about this?
~Assign the machine to a group - done

Then inside the project it asks you which machine group to use.
    ~Yes.

Also when creating the machine make sure that the name is the same hostname of the machine, you can get it from CMD with the hostname command.
    ~Yes, I used the hostname

And make sure that it is available in the machines tab, otherwise you will have to install the certificate again.
    ~Yes. It is visible.

    Hi John,

    Can you see the log?
In some cases, waiting status is produced by no connection from control center to the machine. check the credentials and try with another bot in the same machine.

~Not sure where to check that.

~I tried with another bot, another project, another script. Sadly, it is the same.
