Hi, does the "Incomplete Virtualization Hierarchy" disappear for the endpoint when you set the date range to the last day?
"Incomplete Virtualization Hierarchy" indicates that during the time range of the report data from a physical host on which the virtual machine exists is missing. As a result, default PVU counting is applied.
If ILMT is not able to collect the correct number of processors on an agent, it will use the highest number of processors available on the machine.
Note that in the PVU report drill down data is shown for the peak value time during selected period. It applies also to the virtualization hierarchy.
If VM Manager configuration in your ILMT was completed on... Example -12/22 or later then the hierarchy for 11/23 was left with these internal values (as ILMT cannot assume hierarchy was the same in the past).
PVU values reflect it. Incomplete topology data is removed on condition VM managers are configured within 24 hours since the first incomplete scan.
It means PVU report data will NOT "self-correct" and WILL show the "incomplete..." comment for reports - unless the report is displayed for a period AFTER configuring VM managers.
Basically, the topology will not be changed for the past, but it will be updated in current and future PVU Reports.
