Great! This is what I meant. Configuration manager is just a graphic tool that uses api to create the data sources inside the J2EE Application server (e.g. WebSphere). So your data sources
actually reside inside your Application server.
Try to locate your data sources inside your application server. This is the first place to visit in case FileNet has any database related issues.

Subject: ACCE Database Connection Fail
Hello Christos,
It's my first deployment, yes. I've actually made it to work. The problem was that I did not specify the JNDI source to match the one that I've configured in the FileNet configuration manager. I've used some random name instead and sure enough the system didn't let me create the database connection.

Hi,
It's not clear if this is your first deployment but do the datasources exist in WebSphere (or whichever J2EE server you use) and successfully connect to the database?

Subject: ACCE Database Connection Fail
Hello everyone,
So recently I've deployed FileNet P8 on our environment and tried to create an object store in ACCE, but the database connection is not possible due to some read/write to database error. I'm using DB2. Is it somehow related to XA transactions, because I didn't pay much attention to it when I was configuring the database. Thank you!
