Is anyone else experiencing this? We installed latest Datacap on 2019 Windows servers. However, every time we try to bring up rulerunner manager (RuleRunnerConfig.exe) to make any changes to Ruleruuner settings, it takes 35 seconds to load. Previous versions only took < 1 sec.
Application manager, Datacap server manger etc are all fine and load fast enough.
Could this be an issue with the hardware on the new VM? or an issue with the .exe itself?
Try right click and run as admin? Use a DOS command prompt. CD to \\datacap\taskmaster
Run the rulernner.exe and you will see a series of pop up boxes which mimic the GUI launch. See if that take 35 seconds to launch the executable.
The only other thing I can think of is the RR server just trying to locate the TM server via the network or trying to look for your Datacap\taskmaster\Rulerunner.xml.
Point your xml locally to see if that helps.
Thanks for the reply. It takes 35 sec even in Command prompt and running as admin. he executable is RulerunnerConfig.exe. and I am running it from Datacap/taskmaster location itself. I am not even trying to start Rulerunner process yet, just wanted to bring up the rulerunner manager to check log settings. It takes 35 seconds even if the rulerunner is already running to bring up rulerunner manager
Only this RR server having this issue? Others are okay? Maybe disable any antiviruss scanning?
