Purchasing through the AWS Marketplace brings unique value for companies standardizing on AWS and those with committed AWS spend. Companies standardizing on AWS can now integrate our solution seamlessly into their existing systems. Clients can use their committed AWS spend toward our solution, simplifying the payment and contract management process. Getting started is even easier with deployment automation available for IBM Operational Decision Manager, IBM FileNet Content Manager, IBM Business Automation Workflow, IBM Business Automation Studio and Application Designer on the bring your own license (BYOL) page.

What’s Different:

The offering on AWS differs from the traditional CP4BA offering in a few key ways.

1. Traditional CP4BA uses capacity and user metrics for BAW, FNCM, and ICCSAP, while the offer available on AWS Marketplace only uses capacity metrics.
2. When purchased through a hyperscaler such as AWS, CP4BA is only licensed to be deployable on that hyperscaler, in contrast to the standard deploy-anywhere model.
3. The offer on AWS Marketplace only includes containerized components. In terms of capabilities, this means it does not include Datacap or IBM Content Collector.
