We are pleased to announce two new software-as-a-service products that are available as part of the "Cloud Pak for Business Automation as a Service" bundle. Clients can purchase FlexPoints and then allocate them as needed across a variety of capabilities - including the following two new additions!
IBM Process Mining as a Service
IBM Process Mining as a Service
i
s a process mining solution that discovers, monitors
,
and optimizes business processes.
Process mining uses business system data to create and visualize an end-to-end process that includes all the process activities involved along with the various process paths. Businesses can easily analyze the discovered process to gain actionable insights for
business
improvement. IBM Process Mining as a Service facilitates process automation by finding the best
c
andidates for a
utomation, calculating expected ROI, and showing the impact of automation initiatives on the entire process before implementation.
IBM Task Mining integrates with IBM Process Mining for a better understanding of how
desktop
processes impact the business process. IBM Task Mining captures and sends real user
desktop
interaction data to IBM Process Mining to create an augmented process model. The result is deeper insights for automation projects than what process mining alone can provide.
In addition to the general features described above, the IBM Process Mining as a Service
solution
includes the following entitlements:
3 x IBM Process Mining as a Service Processes
20 million X IBM Process Mining as a Service Event(s)
1 x IBM Process Mining as a Service Analyst User
3 x IBM Process Mining as a Service Business User(s)
2 x IBM Process Mining as a Service Task Mining Agent(s)
IBM
Robotic Process Automation
as a Service
IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as a Service
mimics human behavior to perform repetitive business tasks such as data extraction, data transfer, data computation, and data input by integrating with a business application's graphical user interface. Organizations can use RPA as a Service to automate tasks to help make their operations more efficient and employees more productive by enabling them to focus on higher-value activities.
IBM Robotic Process Automation as a Service Platform delivers a hosted cloud environment with client software that enables organizations to build, manage and run bots that automate manual human processes.
The platform can be used to schedule unattended bots to automate tasks without having to rely on any human intervention
as well as to trigger attended bots
to help
users
complete their tasks. A low-code authoring environment is used to develop bots
that
are stored in a secure repository. A web-based user interface is used to manage the cloud environment including bot scheduling and workload management capabilities. Bot credentials can be stored securely for both attended and unattended bots.
In addition to the general features described above, the IBM Robotic Process Automation as a Service Platform includes the following entitlements:
1 x IBM Robotic Process Automation as a Service Environment
Unlimited use of IBM Robotic Process Automation as a Service Studio
2 x IBM Robotic Process Automation as a Service Attended Bot Agent
1 x IBM Robotic Process Automation as a Service Unattended Bot Agent
These two new SaaS products complement the comprehensive set of Business Automation capabilities that are available as part of Cloud Pak for Business Automation as a Service:
