Tooling
Automation will help you digitize your business, allow workers to offload mundane tasks, and leverage new business models. But there are never enough trained developers to create apps for the business. Democratize app creation and put automation in the hands of citizen developers with Digital Business Automation (DBA) next-gen tooling.

- IBM Business Automation Studio: New upcoming cross-DBA authoring environment that allows citizen developers to easily build apps that aggregate Workflow, Decisions & Content.
Next-gen Architecture
IBM Digital Business Automation is leveraging the latest in public and private Cloud technologies help customers adopt a modern architecture. These planned advancements are designed to help customers build new automation applications in a more agile, secure and performant way.
Current projects:
- IBM Digital Business Automation for Multicloud: We've radically redesigned the DBA architecture and enabled containerized DBA services that allows for rapid deployment and reduced operational costs.
- IBM Content Services: New upcoming enhancements such as external share, modern APIs, and early access to leading Enterprise App integrations - powered by a new microservices architecture and AI fabric.
These Early Access Program projects will allow you to get an early view of the new capabilities that are being developed and influence the ongoing development of the product to meet your needs. You can also join the live demonstrations of the new functionalities that are currently being developed to gain a good understanding of the capabilities and provide immediate feedback.
