Hello Community! I’m Gabriel, your community manager for the watsonx Orchestrate Community at IBM.
First, I wish you all a Happy New Year and I hope everyone enjoyed quality time with their loved ones. As the year 2022 calendar year came to an end, I wanted to highlight some of the ways that we engaged, grew, and became an even better community in 2022. So here’s to our Community; Congratulations on a fantastic 2022!
In 2022, we reached many milestones together, more than we can put into a yearly wrap-up. Still, I will highlight important moments, content, and other memorable moments from our members and community.
Community Launch
We launched the watsonx Orchestrate community on July 12th, 2022. This was the beginning of watsonx Orchestrate's presence within the IBM Automation Community. Since launching, the community has grown steadily through membership, blogs, and discussions. I wanted to show the growth of the community, so here are some numbers to show that:
These numbers represent our team's and our members' initial efforts to make the watsonx Orchestrate community the place to be when looking to learn about Watson, productivity, and the future of work. We want to make it the place to discuss, connect, and learn about productivity and all the benefits that watsonx Orchestrate can provide its users.
Community Blogging
Since the launch of the community, we have seen our members write blogs about teamwork, productivity hacks, and the impact of digital workers or simply tell us about their favorite songs to listen to while working. I wanted to shine the light on my favorite blogs from the community, so here we go:

watsonx Orchestrate Accomplishments
Besides launching the product and its community, one of our biggest accomplishments in 2022 is announcing our partnership with ThisWay Global. IBM watsonx Orchestrate and ThisWay Global have partnered to help talent acquisition professionals accelerate the process of sourcing candidates whose skills match their job postings.
This partnership will allow watsonx Orchestrate's Watson to pull a list of hundreds of candidates whose skills match the posting from ThisWay Global's sourcing platform. Then, within minutes, Watson can obtain your job posting from your local repository—such as Box—and input the information into ThisWay Global's sourcing platform. You can read more about it here.
