What is it?
IBM watsonx Orchestrate is IBM’s AI assistant platform for enterprise productivity. It allows enterprises to build and deploy AI assistants that contain advanced Gen AI and business automation capabilities in order to fulfill a variety of use cases spanning HR, Finance, Sales, and Procurement domains. Teams can use pre-built skills or build their own, and let Gen AI facilitate the end to end experience through a conversational front-end. Traditionally offered as a native SaaS solution on AWS, we are excited today to announce that watsonx Orchestrate is now available as a cartridge on Cloud Pak for Data. This means it can be deployed on-premises or on 3rd party clouds aligned to enterprise data and security requirements.
Why does it matter?
With watsonx Orchestrate being available on Cloud Pak for Data as a cartridge, enterprises have flexibility in their deployment architecture and can deploy AI assistants aligned to their internal data and security requirements. This allows you to build skills and automations where your data lives, giving you peace of mind as you look to transform internal business processes with Gen AI.
