Innovation often refers to something new, an invention or a new product, but it can also be a new way of doing something or even a new way of thinking. As part of Innovation Day, IBM Automation is presenting a fascinating discussion, led by IBM Vice President of Product Management, Bill Lobig on what innovation means when it comes to Automation. Join the conversation at 9 am ET, Wednesday, November 10 to understand IBM’s strategy for innovation and how you can benefit from Innovations in Automation.
Talking about innovation is another way of talking about value, because a thing is not innovative if it provides no value. Bill will be joined by Alan Pelz-Sharpe, founder of Deep Analysis, an analyst firm that publishes the annual Innovation Index, focused on innovations in Information Management and Automation. Ala will share his 4 criteria for Innovation and talk about the drivers of automation today.
Also joining Bill is Dr. Merve Unuvar, Director of AI and Automation at IBM Research, located on the M.I.T. campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She’ll share IBM’s approach to innovating Automation products, infusing AI and Natural Language, and show off some of the work being done.
The format is a conversation about what’s important in Automation, why it’s such an innovative space these days, and how you can start to think about innovation in your organization. I hope to see you there!
