Here comes IBM Community Festival, Nov. 8, 9, 10 and 16, 17. It’s a celebration, a virtual gathering, and a chance to update our user Communities on what’s going on with the software and solutions they use every day. There are keynotes, roadmap sessions, Lightning sessions, workshops and even some fun, spread out over every time zone, so people from all over the world can participate real time. To learn more and see the full lineup of sessions, go to ExpertTV and join by clicking here.
IBM Community Festival has two full days set aside for User Groups. As you can imagine, the pandemic has been tough on user groups who thrive by getting together in person to share best practices and support each other. Fortunately, Community Festival has inspired several IBM Business Automation user groups to have an “Open House,” to share their mission and values and hopefully, attract new membership.
The Public Sector User Group has put together a special one-hour session that offers an inside look at an Automation solution built for the U.S. Veteran’s Benefit Association. PSUG President George Warner will welcome all at 11:30 AM ET, November 8, with a review of the group’s mission and a recap of all that’s been accomplished. “Public sector is an industry that doesn’t compete with each other in any way,” he says. “We are all about sharing information, best practices and helping each other move forward with automation.”
