AWS - A Prime Opportunity For IBM Cloud Pak For Automation?

I’ve been attending the AWS re:Invent Conference, which is virtual this year and runs Nov. 30 to December 18.  AWS re:Invent is a conference hosted by Amazon Web Services for the global cloud computing community, which features keynote announcements, training and certification opportunities, technical sessions, and partner sessions.

As IBM clients increasingly upgrade to IBM Cloud Pak for Automation (CP4A) and take advantage of containerization, a significant portion of them have opted to leverage CP4A’s multi cloud capabilities to host process and content services on AWS.

I was very fortunate to have Harpreet Vohra from Kemper Insurance as a guest on a recent AIIM Virtual Event, called “It’s Time To Realize The Promise of Automation.”  Harpreet is a highly experienced cloud architect, who has spent the past year migrating Kemper’s FileNet content services platform to AWS. His experience has given him a unique expertise. I asked him to try to consolidate his lessons learned into a set of recommendations, which anyone embarking on the journey to cloud could learn from.

Here’s a recording of his talk and probably the most valuable 18 minutes anyone could spend as they contemplate moving their automation and content services platform to the cloud, and AWS specifically.
