Imperium Legacy Technology’s Health Care-as-a-Service platform is making telemedicine more accessible and patient-centric

Telemedicine, the ability to connect with a healthcare professional via telephone and more recently, video conferencing has been an elusive goal for healthcare. However, Covid-19 accelerated -- necessitated -- the adoption of telemedicine and provided new reasons for patients to adopt. Now, more insurers are covering it and more doctors are embracing it as they experience the benefits for themselves and patients. Despite some remaining obstacles, such as limited access to high-speed internet or lack of interoperable systems for accessing and sharing electronic health records, telemedicine is here to stay.

Watch this 15-minute webcast from IBM Business Partner Imperium Legacy Technology to see an intuitive, out-of-the-box solution designed to enrich the telemedicine experience for providers and patients. Known as iDirectDoc, the solution, built on the IBM Cloud Pak for Automation, is a mobile, role-based automation-as-a-service solution that enables patients to connect by video with their care providers -- anytime, anywhere --while inside their health record, with access to artificial intelligence to help the healthcare professional diagnose, anticipate and advise. It also includes a portable satellite delivery option for rural areas and mobile requirements, such as battlefield conditions or field-based worksites.

Join Terry Cooper, founder of Imperium Legacy Technology, as he enacts a role play between doctor and patient using the solution. Imperium is an IBM business partner providing value-added services in the areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and analytics to health care and law enforcement professionals.
