    Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update regarding the upcoming VIC/TAS MUG:

    1. There's still lots of seats available for customers. As at close of business today, I still have 15+ seats for customers. So, please invite your colleagues to come along.
    2. I'm still looking for 2-3 customer presentations, if you haven't already put your hand up to present, please consider doing so. It's 30 mins & no topic is off the table as long as it's related to Maximo. Integrations, new process that you've adopted, new functionality that you're trialling, etc... The MUG is driven by you.
    3. Here's the updated draft agenda...

      10:00am - Welcome
10:30am - Maximo / Maximo Application Suite roadmap
      11:30am - TBC
      12:00pm - Lunch
1:00pm - Asset Performance Management with the Beast 2.0

    Hi Everyone,

We're almost there. 2 more sleeps till the VIC/TAS MUG. Here's what's been happening:
    1. We had to pull the pin on the in-person NSW/ACT MUG & they will now be joining us online for a combined VIC/TAS & NSW/ACT MUG.
    2. Here's the latest agenda:
      10:00am - Welcome

10:30am - Maximo / Maximo Application Suite roadmap
11:30am - Long Term Maintenance Strategy (Scott Taylor, Port Waratah Coal Services)
      12:00pm - Lunch
1:00pm - Asset Performance Management with the Beast 2.0 (Christophe Lucas, IBM)
2:00pm - Scheduling with Maximo (Deb Price, Pacific National)
2:30pm – Maximo Mobile PoC (Trent Orchard, Australian National University & Vinod Nallaparaju - BPD Zenith)
3:00pm - Spatial integration with Maximo (Zoltan Kelly, Melbourne Water)
      3:45pm - Closing remarks
      4:00pm - Drinks & social at a TBC venue

    3. Christophe Lucas (IBM) was supposed to do his demo in-person on Maximo Visual Inspection but COVID has reared it's ugly head & he's now going to do his demonstration remotely.
    4. We still have seats available for customers to attend in-person, if you know of anyone who might be interested in attending, please let me know or get them to register on the MUG website...
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone in-person again & if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me on +61499333419 or johannestjoa@au1.ibm.com

    Hi Everyone,

The presentations & recordings from the Nov 2022 session is now published (https://community.ibm.com/community/user/asset-facilities/viewdocument/victas-mug-presentations-recordi?CommunityKey=16a5e3cb-c949-4258-9ec8-cc4a2513e322&tab=librarydocuments).

That concludes the 2022 MUG. Thanks to everyone who joined us in person & virtually.

I'd also like to give a very special THANK YOU to Zoltan Kelly who as been part of the VIC/TAS MUG for many years (at least 5?) & been key to its success. We wish you all the best in your next adventure & hope you stay connected to Maximo.

    The 2023 plan is to have 1 session around March/April 2023 & another session in October/November 2023.

    Reminders:

    1. Please send me your feedback. What you liked as well as what you think we could have done better. There's always room for improvement.
    2. Please tell me what topics or areas you're interested in. This will help to drive the content for 2023.
    3. Please put your hand up to present. MUG sessions rely on the community sharing their experiences.
    4. Please put your hand up to host a MUG session. If you have a venue that can host between 30-40 people, we'd love to come out to visit you :)
    5. With Zoltan leaving Melbourne Water, he has also officially stepped down as co-MUG leader. We are looking for his replacement. Please contact me if you'd like to step up & take on the role. You will not have to do everything yourself. Darren & I are both here to share the responsibility & workload.
& with that, on behalf of Zoltan Kelly, Darren Hornidge, & myself, we'd like to wish you a merry Christmas & a happy New Year. Enjoy the time off & we look forward to seeing you again at the 2023 VIC/TAS MUG.
