Safety Critical Element crossover to Work Order

  • 1.  Safety Critical Element crossover to Work Order

I will like to find out how to solve a failed crossover of safety-critical elements lists into work orders. I have uploaded the safety-critical elements for different functional locations for assets that are safety-critical. Whenever I create a work order for these assets, I would expect that the safety-critical element should crossover into the  'failure reporting' tab for that work order. However, this does not happen and it makes it difficult when querying data for analysis. I have tried modifying the attribute from the application designer for the field in the work order module to look exactly like that in the location module but the data is not yet crossing over.

is there any other way to solve this challenge?

    HI Tomisin,

It sounds like you have created Location attributes that when an Asset is associated to that location you want to have visibility to those location attributes on the work order.  If this is correct are you populating the location attribute on the work order?  Do you have a relationship from work order to the location for the attributes you are using?  Do you actually want a crossover or are you just wanting to see the location data on the work order?  If you have direct attributes on the LOCATION object and you are simply wanting to display them on the work order application then you should use the "LOCATION." relationship.  If you want to actually crossover the data from the LOCATION object the WORKORDER object then you will need to modify the appropriate crossover domain and add the attributes to be crossed over.  Hope this helps.
