If I am understanding the requirement(s) correctly, they will require programmatic changes to the Mobile application. Investigate the use of the Maximo Application Framework. Your application developers will need to learn the architecture of the new Maximo Mobile applications, make the necessary XML and/or JavaScript changes to the underlying code, and then publish the refined app(s). Adding a button to the app to launch/go to a different page in the app is rather straightforward.
Hope this helps

Subject: Maximo Mobile 8.8 - Home button for Maximo Mobile Service Requests Role-based application in 7.6.1.2.
Our client has a requirement where they need a Home button in the Maximo Mobile Service Requests Role-based application. The requirement is that, when the user is creating a new Service Request there should be an option where the user can go back to the "Active requests"/"Completed requests" page, refer to an existing Service Request and then come back to the page where the user is creating/editing the new Service Request.
In the current application, there is an option to "Save" the new Service Request while creating it and come back to the "Categories" and the "Type" pages, but there is no option to come to the Active/Complete requests page.
Note - We are using Maximo Mobile 8.8 with IFIX008 installed over Maximo 7.6.1.2.
Could you please let us know if there is any configuration or any similar requirement from any other clients which can be implemented in our environment as well.
Any pointers or guide would be greatly appreciated and will be very helpful for us.
