One of our client needs to see the ownertable or application name value of attachment in attachment section.
e.g. let's say there are 3 attachments are in WO. so one might belong to WO, 2nd might have come from JOBPLAN and 3rd might have come from ASSET.
currently <attachment-list> is the tag being used to show or list down all the attachments in Attachment page in technician app.
As per my investigation, this is part of the framework which we can not modify.
Does anyone have any suggestion on how we can achieve this to show ownertable value in Attachment page for all attachments?
Thanks in Advance.
Hi Ritesh - Would adding Job Plan Attachments to a folder called JPAttachments, Asset Attachments to a folder called AssetAttachments and Work Order Attachments to a folder called Attachments resolve your issue on Technician app?
Thanks for the response and your idea.
To implement this, we will have to change this for multiple applications in core Maximo. and also, I think this will be applicable for new attachments only once these folder paths have been created.
Existing attachments will not work in this way, I think.
I don't believe it's possible with this control unless you do something like Andrew is mentioning and then use the show-folder-list option. If you do that you'll see the attachments grouped by folder and can open the relevant folder. This makes sense as an enhancement so I'd open an idea https://ibm-ai-apps.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/
I have submitted an enhancement idea for the same.

I hope it will be considered on priority by IBM team. :)
