This type of "it runs for a few days and then fails" is often seen when the jvm has a memory leak.
You need to check your reports to confirm that secondary datasets are being closed.
If the jvm is running other work then it is important to monitor the mbo counts to see where memory is being used.
I discuss memory leaks in my blog articles (see my signature) and its too complex to discuss here.
If organisations are experiencing performance issues and /or need to restart the jvm unexpectedly /frequently then reach out to me.
I have custom automated tools that have dramatically sped up investigations /pinpointed faults.

Subject: Issue while running reports (OOB, Adhoc and Custom) in MAS 8.9
While executing report getting error like "There was an exception on the server. Check your report parameter values, or contact your system administrator, "
It works fine, after did restart of manage able to open report but then again after some days this issue started.
Does anyone face similar issue in MAS8.9(Manage 8.5.5)?
