Thanks for the response.
May I know if IBM has any plans to support esig validation in RBA in future releases.
We have observed that Web application is not supporting Esig validation at the moment. This is the reason we are trying to hide Web application.
This would be a problem for GxP complaint clients.

Yes, that's not really possible today. You could remove the entry from MAXMENU so it wouldn't be seen in the Go To menu but someone could still launch it if they knew what they were doing. And really, you shouldn't modify the MAXMENU entries (it's not a supported change). If you didn't want something to be available in mobile (only available in the web as a role-based application) you can disable it for mobile access for all users by indicating that it's not a mobile app. But the reverse is not possible. You would need to open an idea (https://ibm-ai-apps.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/) for it.
Some of our mobile apps have replaced legacy work centers like the new inspection application. If these weren't available in the web the only way to execute the inspection would be on a mobile device. That's why we expose these applications in mobile and inside of the web application.

Hi Steven,
By RBA I mean Role Based application of Maximo Mobile.
We are on Maximo Mobile 8.10 and looking to disable only Role based application for end users.
Our understanding is changing the security groups will affect Application in device also.
Thanks

Can you clarify what you mean by RBA? I initially assumed you meant risk-based authentication where a MFA or some other form of authentication is required because it's coming from an untrusted device. But the rest of the sentence "users should be able to use the same application in device" doesn't make sense in that context.

Is there any option to disable only RBA in Maximo Mobile 8.10?
We are looking at a way to have RBA disabled and users should be able to use the same application in device.
Thanks
