IBM Champions Spotlight: Stephanie Neves

By Namitha K posted 2 days ago

Stephanie Neves, a Senior Business Analyst at the State of Arizona/Department of Transportation and an IBM Champion for 2024, is a shining example of a technology professional who is passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise with others. With a background in finance/accounting, law, systems integration, and learning systems, Stephanie brings a unique perspective to her work and is always looking for new ways to improve her skills and knowledge. Stephanie's favorite IBM product is TRIRIGA, which she uses to manage facilities and real estate. She's excited about the potential of AI and ML to enhance asset management programs and is looking forward to exploring these technologies further; “IBM has created a walkway to ESRI Indoors that has brought transportation and facilities together”

When it comes to advocacy, Stephanie prefers speaking and educating others. She's driven by the saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and is proud of her success in educating the sales force on the legislation process. If Stephanie didn't work in technology, she would likely be working in a field that combined finance/accounting, law, systems integration, and learning systems. She loves the variety and challenge of her current role and is always looking for new ways to improve her skills and knowledge; “My job is different and I love that it's a mix of finance/accounting, law, systems integration and learning systems. Every day is different, upgrades and system implementation is near and dear to me”.

As an IBM Champion, Stephanie is passionate about creating new SMEs and educating others. She believes that knowledge sharing is key to success and is always looking for opportunities to share her expertise with others.

Upcoming events on Stephanie's calendar include TechXchange Conference, TRIRIGA World, and a focus group in her area. She's also working on a new legislation request and hopes to be chosen to speak at future events. If you're interested in learning more about Stephanie’s contributions on TRIRIGA, AI, or asset management, be sure to connect with her online and check out her upcoming speaking engagements.
