Presented by Eran Gery and Stephen Rooks of IBM

The Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) is the latest UML based profile to support specification of system of systems and enterprise systems. It unifies concepts from the various defense architecture frameworks (Dodaf, MoDaf, NAF and others) into a single rich architecture framework. In addition to model capability and technical architecture, UAF also includes aspects such as deployment roadmaps and timelines, security, and personel. In this webinar we will illustrate in practice how the UAF is utilized for a concrete system. After a short overview of the framework we will illustrate the various concepts by looking at a concrete model of an emergency response system of systems.

IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) is the leading platform for today’s complex product and software development. ELM extends the functionality of standard ALM tools, providing an integrated, end-to-end solution that offers full transparency and traceability across all engineering data. From requirements through testing and deployment, ELM optimizes collaboration and communication across all stakeholders, improving decision- making, productivity and overall product quality.
