The Value of Maximo Start Centers

"Maximo has many powerful tools yet one of the most often overlooked is the Start Center.  Since Maximo doesn’t come with any pre-configured Start Centers out of the box, they can often be an afterthought during an implementation.  Because of this, they often don’t provide the full value that they should.  The Start Center should be the single place in Maximo that provides ALL of the information you need to know.  It should be configured to make your job simpler with easy access to every record you need to work with.  All of your records should appear automatically so you never have to perform a search to find what should be one click away. Ultimately, it should display your performance (KPI’s) in an easy to see graphical display to help you understand that performance.  In short, your Start Center should be the one place in Maximo you go to get your work completed.
