Through a blend of self-paced learning and instructor-led training, you will build proficiency in configuring and administering Targetprocess to support scalable portfolio, program, and team-level execution. It covers designing workflows, managing data structures, enabling integrations, and applying advanced configuration capabilities to ensure the platform aligns with organizational governance, reporting, and strategic delivery needs. 

Upon successful completion, learners will earn “Practitioner: Targetprocess Administrator” certificate and badge.

Introduction and Overview [1 hour, 14 minutes] 

Learn about the Practitioner: Targetprocess Administrator learning plan and prerequisites. Review and test your understanding of onboarding training for administrators. 

    • Practitioner: Targetprocess Strategist 

    • Start your learning journey by completing the Practitioner: Targetprocess certificate. 

  • Administrator Onboarding 

  • Review administrator onboarding training to refresh your knowledge and prepare for the more detailed training provided in the certificate learning plan.

Advanced Administration and Troubleshooting [1 hour, 38 minutes]

Develop your skills in managing teams and portfolios, configuring notifications, and using data validation reports to manage integrations. 

  • Managing Teams and Portfolios 

    • Deepen your understanding of options for managing teams and team and portfolio assignments. 

  • Notifications 

    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the notifications available in Targetprocess and how to customize and manage these notifications. 

  • Integrations 

    • Learn how to use Data Validation Reports to manage issue-level integrations such as integrations with Jira and Azure DevOps. 

  • Troubleshooting 

    • Develop your troubleshooting skills by reviewing commonly experienced issues and solutions. 

  • Advanced Administration and Troubleshooting Knowledge Check 

    • Assess your knowledge of the concepts covered in the course. 

 

Advanced Automation and Customization [2 hours, 35 minutes] 
Develop your technical expertise in configuring metrics, editing detailed views, and working with mashups. 

  • Metrics 

    • Explore best practices for using metrics and develop your knowledge of metrics options and syntax. 

  • Detailed Views 

    • Learn how to customize the detailed views for entities by editing JSON formatting. 

    • Customization options covered include:  lookup customization, modifying and rearranging fields and tabs, layout customization, and conditional visibility. 

    • Mashups 

      • Learn how to use mashups to extend the functionality of the Targetprocess interface. 

    • Advanced Automation and Customization Knowledge Check 

      • Assess your knowledge of the concepts covered in the course.
