The Cloudability Standard Administrator certification is designed for administrators responsible for keeping Cloudability accurate, secure, and running smoothly within their organization. Through a mix of guided learning and practical admin-focused topics, you will build the confidence needed to manage access, configurations, integrations, and common support scenarios. 

Before attempting this course, learners are recommended to take the Practitioner: Cloudability Standard Strategist certification to build practical skills across allocation, reporting, optimization, governance, and financial planning, so you can manage cloud financial performance with confidence. 

 

Duration 

  • Total course duration = 8 hours 

  • Final assessment = 1 hour (included within the plan) 

The course is structured to help you progress from prerequisites and core administration tasks to deeper technical enablement, then wrap with troubleshooting and reinforcement concepts.

  1. Introduction and Pre-requisites [25 minutes] 

A quick orientation to the certification expectations and the foundational knowledge you should already have before moving into admin workflows. It includes:

  1. Managing Accounts, Users, and Tools [3 hours] 
    Core administrative responsibilities, including how to manage Cloudability access, organize users, and maintain the tools and settings that support daily operations. It includes:

    • Account Credentialing 

    • Manage Users and Permissions 

    • Multi-currency Setup 

    • Admin Actions for Cloudability Governance 

    • Admin Actions for Cloudability Financial Planning 

  1. Working with APIs [3 hours] 

A practical introduction to using APIs to support integrations and automation, including common patterns and considerations for admin use cases. It includes: 

    • Getting Started with APIs 

    • API End Points 
       

  1. Troubleshooting [23 minutes] 

Targeted guidance on diagnosing and resolving common issues such as missing data, permissions challenges, or configuration-related inconsistencies. It includes: 

    • Cloudability Governance 

    • PagerDuty 

    • Tags and Labels 

    • Cost Sharing 

    • Getting Help 
       

  1. Concept Corner [70 minutes] 

A reinforcement module that strengthens understanding of key concepts and connects them back to operational decisions you will make as an admin. Complete the final assessment comprising of 35 questions and score at least 75% to pass the exam and earn the badge and certificate. It includes:
