Datalink: What's New in the 2.19.0 release

This release includes UI enhancements for the ServiceNow connectors and adds support for query parameters to the REST Service connector. It upgrades the Datalink Agent on-premises from Java JDK 8 to Java JDK 11 and also includes some bug fixes.

Enhancements:


Datalink Agent on-premises upgraded from Java JDK 8 to Java JDK 11

The Datalink Agent on-premises is now upgraded from Java JDK 8 to Java JDK 11. Java JDK 11 is automatically downloaded during installation. If you are using the Datalink Agent on-premises, we recommend that you upgrade to Java JDK 11.

Query parameters support added to the REST Service connector
The REST Service connector now supports query parameters in the URL. You can use the query parameters field to pass additional filters in the REST URL.

Enhanced UI for the ServiceNow connectors
You can now change the display parameters in the ServiceNow connector and exclude reference link parameters for each table. With ServiceNow custom connections, you can now modify the default pagination limit setting.


Bug Fixes:
  • Previously, the format for adding multiple recipients to an email notification was not shown in the UI. Now, a tooltip is provided to display the format to add multiple recipients.
  • Previously, long connector names and the destination names were truncated and not displayed properly. Now, the character limit is increased by 40% to show the full names.
