This release introduces the Multicloud connector (requires Studio 12.6) to replace the AWS and Azure connectors, as well as a new vCenter connector that uses their REST API.

Compatibility

New Features

• VMware vCenter REST connector for vCenter 6.5+. This connector retrieves a different set of data compared to the connector for 5.x due to the change from SQL to REST API; for more information, see the VMware vCenter REST Connector Guide . [DL-6554]
• Multicloud connector. This connector replaces the AWS and Azure connectors, and requires TBM Studio 12.6. For more information, see the DataLink Multicloud Connector Guide. [DL-5963]

Fixed in this release

•  Display validation errors in the Apptio Destination panel when the user clicks the Test button. [DL-6583]
• REST Connector: Add support for encoded URLs (e.g. with "%20"). [DL-6617]
• Add "legacy" suffix to AWS and Azure connector names. [DL-6669]
• Add SKIP_XML_RESOLVER environment flag to support SOAP/XML payloads containing escaped characters. [DL-6568]
• Correctly report successful execution when a connector group only contains download connectors. [DL-6039]
• Shut down engine process before agent is stopped. [DL-6577]
• Increase security by adding certain headers. [DL-6497]
• Upgrade to the latest versions of certain Java libraries. [DL-6559]
• Resolve SOAP issue with upgrade to Java library. [DL-6581]
