Fri May 18, 2018 05:05 PM

Release date: May 18, 2018

TIP  See also previous DataLink release notesTo see details for all recent Apptio product releases, refer to "Latest Release Notes & What's New" on the Product Central home page.

This release enables concurrent execution of connectors in a Connector Group, enables "Specific Time" in the Apptio connector, and addresses several other issues.

New Features

  •  Enable concurrent execution of connectors in a Connector Group [DL-5766]

NOTE  With this release, up to four connectors at a time will be executed concurrently within a group. Apptio may change this number as we observe performance characteristics across our environments. If you require strictly sequential execution, please log a ticket with Support and we can change a setting to restrict the concurrency.

Compatibility

  • Upgrade DataLink manager and DataLink engine to this version in order to receive all the features and improvements. There is no need to upgrade the DataLink agent.
  • You can also upgrade the DataLink engine only.

Bug Fixes

  • Excel Connector: Explicitly call refresh to avoid locking user account when file path is incorrect. [DL-4392]
  • ServiceNow Connector: UI now indicates when the report list is empty. [DL-5494]
  • Apptio Connector: Prevent IncludeTotalRow in API for creating/editing Copy Table connectors. [DL-5521]
  • DBR Connector: Disabling a scheduled CCM job no longer loses column mapping information. [DL-5742]
  • Apptio Connector: Enable selection of "Specific Time" in Apptio Destination section. [DL-5761]
  • Add filter to prevent invalid URLs [DL-5776]
