DataLink 4.5.3 (Build 7144): Release Notes

This release includes new features and addresses some bugs in DataLink.

 

New Features

  • AWS RI Connector: ingest Reserved Instance modifications as well as RI purchase data [DL-4206]
  • AWS Connector: add default destination settings to streamline setup [DL-4384]
  • Azure Connector: add default destination settings to streamline setup [DL-4385]
  • REST connector: add JSON pass-through option [DL-3491]
  • Salesforce Connector: build Salesforce-specific UI [DL-4424]

 

Compatibility

  • DL manager and engine must be upgraded to support all new features
  • Breaking changes for Salesforce connector EA release; Salesforce EA customers must re-create the connector

 

Bug Fixes

  • DBR Connector EA: fix issue related to using AccessKey/Secret authentication when creating DBR job [DL-4489]
  • ServiceNow Connector: increase timeout on ServiceNow UI controller [DL-4506]
  • Fixed warning messages in API documentation [DL-4466]
  • Salesforce Connector (OAuth2.0): HttpClient closed prematurely in OAuth20CredentialsProvider [DL-4439]
  • All Connectors: remove retry logic from uploading data to BIIT when error occurs; not necessary with R12 [DL-4532]
  • All Connectors: test button fails but connector runs successfully [DL-4481]
  • Periodic Schedule: ConnectorScheduler needs to populate R12 credentials before making timeSettings requests [DL-4551]
  • Periodic Schedule: re-schedule on failed query for period info [DL-4523]
  • Periodic Schedule: increase timeout for periodic schedule connectors to get next period by default and make it configurable [DL-4562]
