DataLink 4.5 (Build 6752): Release Notes

This release includes new features and addresses some issues in DataLink.

 

New Features

  • DL-3483: AWS Detailed Billing Report (DBR) Connector Early Access (EA) release

 

Compatibility

  • DL manager and engine must be upgraded to support new features
  • AWS DBR connector EA release is controlled by environment variable (CAT_ENABLED) in DL manager

 

Bug Fixes

  • DL-4327: R12 application selector doesn't populate previous selection when editing Apptio to Apptio connector
  • DL-4322: SOAP service settings don't update when password field loses focus
  • DL-4284: Connector run progress notifications are not showing up and also causes cancel connector run button to not show
  • DL-4285: Issues of displaying the agent status when new agent is registered in the manager page
  • DL-4286: Connector Test results are sometimes failing to load in the test modal window
  • DL-4289: AWS S3 connector with delegation fails to load the report data when connector page is refreshed on most attempts
  • DL-4005: Update API documentation to reflect changes in authentication due to R12.2
  • DL-4212: Agents could become unregistered after going temporarily offline
  • DL-4271/DL-4269: Configuration changes not saved due to excessive calls to LoadData()

That was it... we had jumped a couple releases and had missed the time zone support but figured it out... Support was great.

Hi Luis, I wonder if the change to your scheduling is the result of the introduction of time zone support per DL-3023? I trust that Support is taking care of the rest of your issues...

Has anyone encountered any issues after the upgrade?  I have a couple support tickets open, but seem to have issues with browser.  Use to log in via Chrome, but now when I log in through Chrome can't see my connectors, but when logging in through Explorer I can see the connectors.  Had a co-worker try, and they had the opposite effect, could see connectors in chrome, not explorer... WEIRD. ...But once I got into my existing connectors, I noticed I now needed to choose what version of Apptio I would be loading the files to Version 11 or Version 12.  Also when trying to manually run the connectors, use to just be able to hit Run Now.  When doing that now, it's not doing anything... My scheduled loads are happening with out a problem, although appears the time was changed.  My scheduled runs are running 4 hours before they were scheduled...They are looking into that as well, as appears when upgrading the default time may have changed to GMT-4?  So have a few tickets opened with support after this upgrade...
