 Can a visual be created to show cumulative costs over a period?

I am trying to create a layered visual that shows our monthly cloud costs with an overlay of our cloud costs to date. Is there a way to have cumulative cost as a metric when creating the visual in ApptioBI?

Hello @Jamie Chaffin, Here is the answer from one of our expert -
"Apptio BI does not support cumulative totals for a given metric and trended time periods."

Is it possible to create a calculated metric of Cost YTD and expose it to BI? I think that would let you see a cumulative total over the course of the year. I know you can easily in CT but not sure how easy it is to make a metric like that in Cloudability?
