If you've been a member of the Apptio Community for a while, you may remember @Jenny Goodwin's Animals of Apptio blog.  I am thrilled to bring it back!

Whenever I needed a midday break, I would check to see if there were any new comments on the blog.  I loved connecting with other community members and seeing everyone's animals!  Whether you have a dog, cat, fish, rabbit, bearded dragon, horse, etc we would love to see them.

Below are my two girls, Heidi (on the left) and Belle (on the right).  We rescued them around 5 years ago from Freedom Ride Rescue in the Raleigh, NC area.  Belle has a neurological disorder that makes her like a perpetual puppy in her mind.  She has a lack of impulse control, depth perception issues amongst a list of other things.  Heidi and Belle are the sweetest sisters.

Leave a comment introducing your pet(s).  I am excited to *meet* them. 😊

Well your girls are just the cutest!! I have two boy pups, Sheldon and Rooster.  Sheldon is a 4.5 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and Rooster is a 3 year old Boykin Spaniel.  They are both absolutely rotten.
    Here are some puppy pics!!

    Lauren and Logan,
I'm so glad to see this thread back!  Like you, I love checking out the pups.  Have just clicked "Follow" so I'll get notified of updates.  Here are a couple pictures of my good boy Rookie.  Like Belle he doesn't have a lot of impulse control.  He's very high drive and get overly excited for games, greetings, etc.  But in general, he's the most chill relaxed boy.   Black dogs are tough to capture on camera, most of my pix don't show his face very well but here are a few pix.

Yay!! Animals are BACK!  🥳 Just Say Yes to Doggies!  For those who knew him on Community, we had to said goodbye to our AMAZING border collie Sammy Sam 3 years ago in April.  Miss him still.

Do not fret though because, last August we fostered and then quickly "fostered failed", our "Big Baby" Goldie.   She is about 7 years old and was just too sweet!  We could not let her go.  So, here she is!  Goldie, Goldie Gold, Gold, Sweet Potato but mostly just Big Baby because she is just such a cute, sweet, big baby.  🤗

Meet Bailey, our daughter's Havanese Bichon, who's lived with us for a while. He now has to deal with a human baby brother, who just started crawling... Lots of fun!

Meet Gillson, our wild large fluffball. He's an Aussie Shepherd-Golden mix, just a year old, and an absolute handful. If he's not shedding all over the house, he's stealing the kids' toys or tracking mud onto the couch like it's his job.

We're still working on the training part, but he's the sweetest dog with not a mean bone in his body. He loves the park, never misses a walk, and somehow manages to be both a menace and the best family dog all at once.

Adorable!!!! I want us to get a border golden mix to be Goldie's buddy as she HATES to be left alone (residual from her 1st 7 years of life!)  I am quite confident Gillson has SO much energy!!! He looks like tons of fun and perfect for your kids to play with 🤗

CUTIE!!!  How old is Bailey and what does he think of the baby crawling around?  Does he run away, play or just get annoyed?  lol

I think he's seven, maybe eight. The day the baby came home from the hospital, Bailey barked quite a bit, but eventually he got used to that strange little thing.

He now waits next to the baby chair when the boy is having lunch, in the hope that something will drop. He follows the baby at times, licking his feet, and sometimes his face, which the baby doesn't quite like yet.

Bailey's realized he no longer is the center of attention and my daughter is not sure he likes that. It's a sweet little thing, but has a very powerful voice, especially for such a small animal (~7 Kg).

    Work in progress, I suppose.

That sounds about right!  Poor Bailey, relegated to scraps and 2nd place.  Give him an extra pet today from me! :-)
