Try adding emojis to call attention to views, reports, or items that are especially important. Emojis can be added to item names in the left menu, entity names, and also included in tags, cards, comments, and descriptions. This blog covers adding emojis to view name and entity names.

To add an emoji to a view, report, or dashboard:

1. Open View Setup. You must be the view owner to edit View Setup.
2. Click the default icon to the left of the view or report dashboard.
3. Select a new icon from the options available in the drop-down.
4. Save your changes by exiting view setup.

The new icon will now be displayed in the menu for all users with access to the view.

To add an emoji to an entity name:

1. Open the detailed view for the item.
2. Click the item name to edit.
3. Access the emoji menu by pressing WIN + . (for Windows) or by pressing CTRL+CMD + Space (for macOS).
4. Select an emoji.

The added emoji will be displayed both on detailed views and on views where the entity is displayed.
