Whether you are a customer looking to dive into Apptio’s education services or a partner aiming to leverage IBM training, this blog will walk you through how to access and navigate both platforms seamlessly.

For customers:

IBM-Apptio provides a variety of training options on the Apptio Education Services Learning Platform. Here’s how you can access and make the most of the educational resources available:

1. Visit the Apptio Education Services Platform:

2. Register (if you haven’t already):
   • Click on the 'Register' button located at the top left corner of the screen, next to the 'Login' button.
     
     
     
     
   • Fill out the registration form on Monday.com:
     • Select Apptio customer.
     • Enter your first and last name.
     • Provide your company email address and company name.
     • Select whether you need an AAEP pass (All Access Education Pass), which gives you access to both free and paid content.
     • Click ‘Submit’.
       
       
        
   • Your registration will be reviewed within 48 business hours and if you are a customer of Apptio you will receive an invite to the system.
     
     
3. Sign-in or log in:
   After receiving your credentials, sign-in or log in to the platform.
   
   
   
   
4. Explore Your Dashboard:
   Based on your access level you will see both free and paid courses on your dashboard, including:
   • New and updated content
     
     
     
     
   • Badges that you have earned or can earn after successful completion of courses.
     
     
     
     
   • Courses that are arranged in the sequence in which you should be taking them:
     • Start here
     • Apptio Onboarding paths
     • Apptio product certifications
       
       
       
       
   • Search for courses by using keywords
   • Filter courses by personas, content type, product, domain and platform
   • Sort courses by following categories: most recent, last updated and title
     

     
     
     
5. Explore Additional Resources:
   At the top of your dashboard, you will find helpful links:
   • Apptio Education FAQ: Get answers to common questions.
   • Free content catalog: See all the free courses available.
   • Virtual Instructor-Led Training Calendar: Find slots for upcoming live trainings.
   • IBM TechXchange Community: Join the community to interact with IBM employees, partners, and other customers.
   • Apptio Help Center: Access product documentation.
   • Username drop-down: View, print and export the transcript of your completed trainings or sign out from Apptio education services learning platform.

For partners:

For IBM-Apptio partners, the IBM training platform is the gateway to a range of valuable courses and certifications. Here’s how you can access them:

1. Visit the IBM training platform: IBM Training
2. Click on user icon on the top right then, select 'Log in' from the drop-down. 
   
   
   
   
3. Log in using IBMid and password.
   
   
   
4. Create an IBMid (if you don't have one)
   • Click on 'Create an IBMid'.
   • In 'Create an IBMid' page update all necessary fields.
   • Verify your email and click 'Create Account'.
   • After updating all details, click ‘proceed’ that will initiate a confirmation email in your inbox regarding the IBMid creation.
   • Use the IBMid and password to log in.
     
     
     
5. Search for courses: After logging in, use the search bar to find specific trainings, such as 'IBM Cloudability for Practitioner Level 4'.
   
   
   
6. Browse through categories
   
   
    
   • Learn: Discover trainings across various categories, use the search option to find courses by entering relevant keywords, explore trainings through name of learning paths and activities, find trainings by badge titles, and access instructor-led training sessions.
   • Subscriptions: Learn about the different subscription models available to support your learning journey.
   • My Learning: Review your personal achievements and active subscriptions.
   • Partner Plus Hub: Earn rewards through IBM Partner Plus by progressing through Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers. Access IBM-Apptio trainings under Proficiency, Technical Advanced, and Practitioner badges in the category of 'Automation platform' and enjoy targeted benefits to accelerate your earnings and expertise.
     
     
     
     
   • HBCU: IBM partners with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to provide skills training and technology credentials, supporting students and strengthening talent pipeline, particularly in cybersecurity. Explore the offerings and opportunities.
   • Contact: Submit support tickets, ask questions, read FAQs, and get assistance related to course completion.
   • IBM Learn 'n score: Make learning fun with IBM Learn 'n Score. Complete missions like earning certifications and joining labs to earn points, trophies, and XP, while boosting your expertise and levelling up.
   • IBM Training: All the resources, trainings, and details mentioned above can be easily accessed through the IBM Training landing page through shortcut options.
