The slides attached are about how I customized Apptio data upload, formulas, tables, reports and row level security. By doing this, It not only boosted our efficiency and data accuracy, but also greatly improved our user experience and their confidence in TBMO’s work as well as Apptio software.

This is an on-going effort as more Users are brought on-board… we have many Users from IT and Finance and they all have different data requirements.

Initially I thought that Apptio system is only a tool that we input data and get out of box report as is.

By learning from Apptio University and interacting with Apptio Consultant and Internal IT experts), I learnt that Apptio is more powerful reporting tool that I initially thought. Never satisfied with what we got from the OOTB models and reports. We could customize them and make our end users really happy, and potentially for them to find savings for our organization.
