Edge Application Manager : Overview of New Features and New Samsung Use Case

Join Susan Bowlin for an overview of the following new features to be released soon as part of IBM Edge Application Manager v4.5:
  • Auto Agent - Offers the capability to update agents without having to touch the edge node. Update control options include grouping and enabling the update to be policy driven.
  • Agent High Availability - Edge Application Manager contains a feature called HA Groups that when coupled with the application-provided load balancing, enables nodes to be associated as a group so that a minimum of one copy of a service, deployed to the group is always running.
  • FDO 1.0 - FIDO Device Onboard allows for a zero touch implementation of IEAM and the containerized workloads.
