The Telecoms industry has started its journey to transform their network platforms to a hybrid cloud technology base. Moving from pre-packaged physical network appliances to a disaggregated stack running software network functions on multi-purpose flavors of hardware.

5G network slices can be dynamically created and "programmed" to provide end customers with their own individual mobile network and subscriber management that can be continually updated to meet their evolving needs.

Expecting humans to anticipate and imperatively program the lifecycle workflows for how the massive number of hardware and software-based network moving parts must be orchestrated to build and maintain a set of turnkey Network Services is not going to be possible. Extreme Automation is required.

Please join Brian Naughton, CTO & Director IBM Telco Network Cloud in this on demand webinar, Extreme Automation for 5G Network Slicing.
