The South African Tivoli User Group was dormant for a while, but was ressurrected again in 2014.
There are 2 main parts of the User Group: Maximo and Netcool. Both these parts hold annual meetings for the Users. These conferences are wonderful opportunities to find out what the latest features of the products are, meet key IBMers, see what other users are doing and to network with fellow users of the product. These User Group meetings are generally held in Johannesburg or Pretoria.
Some customers even see User Group meetings as an extension to training events they attend and conclude that joining User Group activities is time well spent.
