  • 1.  CPU limit change dashboard?!

    Maybe I'm just trying to spin my wheels for no good reason or maybe I'm just missing something. 

    For instance, below are a few entries that I am able to pull in the events api but just DO NOT show up when I query alerts in the web interface (<>.instana.io/#/events)

    The REST request that would get the information that I need returns the following data. Thought's as to whether or not it's not possible to return this data from the web UI or not I am unsure. I am also putting in a support ticket to cover all bases. But any help/insight on this would be appreciated

    Event query string:
    NOT(entity.kubernetes.namespace:kube-system AND entity.kubernetes.pod.name:<redacted>* AND entity.kubernetes.pod.name:<redacted>* AND entity.kubernetes.pod.name:instanak*)AND entity.kubernetes.cluster.label:<redacted>

    Rest call results:
    problem type detail
    SuccessfulRescale change New size: 2; reason: cpu resource utilization (percentage of request) above target
    SuccessfulRescale change New size: 5; reason: cpu resource utilization (percentage of request) above target
    SuccessfulRescale change New size: 3; reason: cpu resource utilization (percentage of request) above target
    SuccessfulRescale change New size: 4; reason: cpu resource utilization (percentage of request) above target
    SuccessfulRescale change New size: 6; reason: cpu resource utilization (percentage of request) above target

    In the UI, did you select "All" and not just "Incidents"?

    Apologies for the delayed response. Yes I did try the ALL event in UI. It looks like this is just a limitation on custom dashboards. The custom ones are... good... but limited.
