I am part of the team that defines the Global Technology Strategy for IBM Services worldwide, working directly with Distinguished Engineers, Service Areas Leaders, Regional Leaders and Senior Executives (VP, Directors, etc) from diverse technology areas. My work has direct impact on our global pipeline of +780 customers and +280,000 databases admins in Distributed environments.
I actively contribute to the definition of our Global Distributed Databases strategy and best practices definition for our delivery support teams worldwide. During my career, I have attended over +200 hours in local training centers of US on different Databases technologies exercises and trouble shootings.
Since 2010, I have been appointed as Member of Program Committee Service Management and Quality of Service - IEEE International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing and Application (SOCA). The IEEE annual conferences provides an international forum for researches to exchange and share their experiences, ideas, papers, and latest research results into the IEEE Technical Committee on Business Informatics and Systems (TCBIS) organization
My main background started as an Oracle Database administrator in 1997, after these early days, I got a Worldwide experience with more than 32 years on database administration technical strategies & command and control projects on databases (+ 80.000 project hours), working with technical improvements, productivity, budgets, risk administration, quality and audits, cost analysis and strategic relationship with customers and suppliers.
At Academic level, I hold an Engineer degree at Universidad Nacional de la Plata (UNLP), an English Teacher Graduate Certification at Cultural Inglesa of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and two postgraduate educations at Universidad del Salvador: Postgraduate degree in Management and a Master Degree in Global Delivery Services.
I have 2 citizenship: Argentine and European Union (passport from Spain).
