    Hello Watson Discovery Community,

    Discovery is clearly a really exciting product, but if one is considering migrating from Watson Explorer oneWEX, how would one ensure that a user community can still receive an experience like that in oneWEX Content Miner? Would this be a case of having to essentially emulate that experience with a custom webapp, like the Discovery sample?

    Any thoughts or sharing of experience would be really appreciated, thanks!

    Hello there,

    Talking about WEX, WCA, Content Miner? I love this platform lerned a few months ago that it would become a PaaS offering under Watson Discovery umbrella! Is it really a plan? What is the road map of this offering?

    Marcos,

      We typically only release product roadmaps under some form of NDA, for competitive reasons.  We also tell customers that our future plans change, so if I tell you today that something will be available in March 2021, that plan may change and that feature or product could be discontinued, or delivered earlier or later.  The business environment is VERY fluid in the AI space right now.

      So I would tell you that you need to continue watching this space for announcements of new feature availability, beta programs, and questions about capabilities that we think our customers might find useful in the future.  If there are things that you would like to see in the Watson products, reach out and let us know.  Work with your IBM sales team or customer success manager to get the information that will help you make decisions about your own future direction.   We WANT to hear from our users.
