    Hi all,

    I am working with SPSS.

I have two  "select all that apply " questions on my survey and need to find how the options under each question are related to each other:

    One of them asks:

At the beginning of the summer, what were your three biggest concerns and questions about coming to McGill?

One of the response options for this question is: Course selection and registration.

Another "select all that apply "question asks:

I got the information to register for my courses from:

and one of the options under this question is:

My Faculty Intro to Course Registration session(s)

I want to know if those who select "course selection and registration" as a top concern for the first question, used "My Faculty Intro to Course Registration session(s)" under the second question as a source of information.

What SPSS analysis would you suggest to use?

    Best,

    Raheleh

    Hi @Raheleh Salimzadeh

From your description, it seems to me like you should begin with a discussion of the Multiple Response functionality in IBM SPSS Statistics.  Once you are familiar with multiple categories and multiple dichotomies, see the Custom Tables module for its treatment of these multiple response groups
