spss 27 license - should i support v26 (v26 clients are still on 'x days to go' countdown...)?

  • 1.  spss 27 license - should i support v26 (v26 clients are still on 'x days to go' countdown...)?

    installed newer (downloaded from IBM) sentinel manager, activated new license, and SPSS v27 seems to be working, but v26 are not - still counting down to expiration.

    In the past, previous versions were supported - has this changed?

    Actually it is the other way around. Statistics 25.0, for example could make use of a Statistics 26.0 concurrent license token. This is still true of Statistics 26 and a Statistics 27 license token. What appears to be happening is your Statsitics 26.0 license string is still valid, so your Statistics 26.0 clients are still trying to use it. If you remove this license from your license manager, your Statistics 26.0 client should still launch -- using a Statistics 27.0 token. This gives you the time to switch these clients over to Statistics 27.0
